Your Childs First Visit:
The ADA recommends a good starting time for your child's first dental visit, be after the eruption of his or her first tooth. At the very latest the ADA recommends your child visit the dentist no later than on their first birthday.
You, as a parent, can make your child's first visit to the dentist enjoyable and positive. Your child should be informed of the visit and told that Dr. Fox and his staff will explain all procedures and answer any questions.
Brushing techniques, flossing, healthy snacks and fluoride recommendations are just some of the topics that Dr. Fox and his staff will discuss during your child's initial cleaning and exam appointment.
Preventative Care:
Dr. Fox focuses on preventative dental care for your children. It is important to be sure your child is properly brushing and flossing. Starting children at a young age with good oral hygiene habits will lead to better overall oral health.
